Danny Rampling is an English DJ, producer, and dance music legend. A trip to Ibiza in the summer of 1987 inspired him to open one of London’s first acid house clubs, Shoom, in the basement of an South London gym.
Shoom set the tone for what was to become the Second Summer of Love in 1988, and ultimately the rave scene that continues in various forms today. In this episode Danny and I discuss:
